This choir sings on most Sunday mornings. They practice in Room C310 on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.
New Creation Choir
New Creation is a relatively small ensemble of young and median-aged adults who periodically sing in Sunday morning worship.
The PraiSinger Choir is open to students from grades 6 through 12. The choir sings occasionally in Sunday morning worship and sometimes goes on a summer mission tour.
Children’s Choirs exist in order that children may learn about worship, music and have an opportunity to sing new songs and hymns about God’s love. The season for these choirs is from September through May. These choirs sing Christmas music in December and a have performance in May. The following is a list of our choirs:
The Music Makers choir is open to all children from Grades 1-5. This choir meets in Room C203 on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. It is directed by Donna Swindle.
The Melody Makers choir is open to preschoolers from age 3-Kindergarten. This choir meets in Room W116 on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. It is directed by Diane Peacock.
The Glory Choir is open to retired persons in the San Angelo community. The choir sings occasionally in Sunday morning worship and has presented a special evening of Christmas music every December. For the past several years, the choir has participated in the annual statewide senior adult music festival sponsored by the Baptist General Convention of Texas. They meet in the Baptist Memorials High Rise, second floor, Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. It is directed by Linda Bratcher and Janet Vaught.
