In an age of
communication advances,
it seems odd to tout what
a website cannot do,
but...
a website cannot
adequately convey what
it means to love God with all
your heart, soul, mind, and
strength while loving your
neighbor as yourself;
a website cannot
celebrate when you celebrate
nor cry when you cry; and a
website cannot fully introduce
you to God's work in the world
and what part you are gifted
and equipped to play.
For these tasks,
as well as many others,
you need people. You need
deep relationships with people
who love God and realize
that loving God means
serving God's world;
First Baptist Church is a community of people who are seeking
to be "a missional community that follows Jesus Christ
and shares the message of the Bible as
loving, caring servants.
